A post-commit git hook that detects when Ethan commits a TODO/FIXME with a date or 'remove once X' condition, and auto-creates a scheduled background agent (via /schedule) to revisit it on the right date. Turns abandoned cleanup notes into self-firing reminders without Ethan having to remember to set them.
Create ~/bin/commit-whisper as a bash script invoked from a global git post-commit hook (~/.config/git/hooks/post-commit, set via core.hooksPath). On each commit: run `git diff HEAD~1 HEAD` for added lines matching /TODO|FIXME|remove once|after \d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}|in \d+ (days|weeks)/i. For each match, extract context (file:line, surrounding function) and pipe to `claude -p --model haiku` with a prompt asking it to extract a cleanup intent and target date (defaulting to +14 days). Append entries to ~/.claude/cleanup-queue.jsonl, then write a single cron entry via the safe-append pattern that fires `notify-focus` + opens a Claude session prefilled with 'revisit cleanup:
