Each evening, picks 3 commit subjects from the day across all active projects, runs them through the existing socratic-reflection-harvester to generate Socratic journaling prompts, and writes them as a single markdown card to ~/Tablet/morning/ so they appear on the TCL NXTPAPER for handwritten reflection with coffee. Closes the loop between what you shipped and what you examine — turning every commit into a journaling seed without you having to ask.
Create ~/bin/commit-socratic-tablet-brief as a bash script: (1) collect last 24h of commits via `git -C ~/

- `~/bin/commit-socratic-tablet-brief` (executable, 84 lines) — picks 3 random commits from the last 24h across active projects, pipes them to local `gemma` with a Socratic prompt template, writes `~/Tablet/morning/YYYY-MM-DD-commit-reflection.md` with date header, 3 numbered prompts, and blank handwriting space between each. Falls back to template prompts if gemma fails, exits cleanly if no commits found.
- `~/bin/commit-socratic-tablet-brief.test.bats` — 4 tests, all green (file creation, date header, exactly 3 prompts, blank handwriting space).
**Cron installed:** `0 21 * * *` (9pm daily) — waiting at sunrise.
**Verified end-to-end:** real run picked 3 commits, gemma generated three on-topic Socratic prompts, file landed at `~/Tablet/morning/2026-05-21-commit-reflection.md` where tablet-sync will sweep it onto the NXTPAPER.
Note: the project's original "socratic-reflection-harvester" actually harvests handwritten *answers* back from the tablet — it doesn't generate prompts. So this script uses `gemma` (the same local-LLM path other socratic tools use) as the prompt generator, which keeps the loop fast and offline.
