This weekly job uses local Gemma to semantically cluster all ~/bin tools by purpose, flags clusters of 3+ that likely do the same job, and drops a 'consolidation candidates' card on the tablet — surfacing accidental sprawl he never notices because each tool was built one session at a time.
Create ~/bin/tool-sprawl-sentinel (bash, ~80 lines). Step 1: enumerate executables in ~/bin, skipping *.test.* and *.bats. Step 2: for each, extract a one-line purpose — first non-shebang comment, or the script's --help/usage line if present. Step 3: pipe the name+purpose list to `gemma-task` with a prompt: 'Group these CLI tools into clusters by overlapping purpose; return only clusters with 3+ members as JSON {cluster_name, tools[], why_redundant, keep_one_suggestion}.' Step 4: render the JSON to a markdown card and write it to ~/Tablet/ following the existing socratic-tablet-brief output pattern, then `notify-focus`. Step 5: add a weekly cron line via the safe-append pattern. Reuses gemma-task (local, free, no API) and the tablet-sync pipeline already in place.
