Ethan has dozens of tools that push commits and questions to his e-ink tablet (commit-socratic-tablet-brief, tablet-question-inbox, stylus-reply-router) but nothing that verifies whether the reflective questions he handwrites answers to actually change his later commits. This tool closes the loop: it correlates handwritten stylus replies with subsequent git commits and surfaces which of his own reflections he actually acted on versus ignored.
Create ~/services/innovation-engine/reflection-commit-closer (bash + python). Cron nightly: read stylus replies from ~/Tablet/ inbox (via stylus-reply-router output logs) tagged with a commit SHA/project, then for each replied question scan `git log --since` in the matching active project (jekelinspections, joyos-labs-monitor, etc.) for commits within 72h touching related files. Score correlation by keyword/file overlap; write a weekly digest via send-formatted-email and a tablet card via tablet-sync API showing 'reflections you acted on' vs 'open loops'. Reuses socratic-reflection-harvester's parsing and idea-realization-tracker's scoring logic.
## Reflection-Commit Loop Closer — done
**What it does:** correlates the handwritten stylus reflections `stylus-reply-router` routes into each project's `~/<slug>/.claude/stylus-notes.md` with git commits that landed in that same project within 72h, then surfaces which reflections Ethan actually acted on versus which are still open loops. Refreshes a tablet card nightly and emails a weekly digest.
**Files created** (`~/services/innovation-engine/reflection-commit-closer/`):
- `closer.py` (~95 lines) — parses dated reflection lines, scores each against the highest token-overlap commit in the 72h window (matches on both commit subject and changed filenames; needs ≥2 overlapping meaningful tokens to count as "acted on"), writes the card to `~/Tablet/briefs/reflection-loop-card.md`, and on `--email` sends via `send-formatted-email`.
- `run.sh` — nightly wrapper; auto-adds `--email` on Sundays for the weekly digest; logs to `closer.log`.
- Cron: `30 2 * * *` nightly.
**Verified:**
- Live run against real data: clean (no routed reflections yet — matches the router log, which hasn't found a note to route).
- Sandbox fixture with a real git repo: a "payment retry queue idempotency guard" reflection correctly matched its commit (`43d816e`) and landed under "acted on," while an unrelated gardening reflection correctly fell to "open loops." Proves both the positive and negative correlation paths.
**Reuses:** the router's own on-disk output format (
